Suleymaniye Mosque Carpark-Civil Design
Ground Civil is proud to announce the completion of a recent project that involved the design of asphaltic pavement areas, stormwater system, and site levels surrounding a mosque. The project was completed in January 2023 and was executed based on the Australian standards. A site layout plan is illustrated below.
The scope of the project included the design and drafting of all external pavement levels, asphalt pavement design, vehicle turning movement templates, kerbing, site earthworks levels, including 3D strings. The project also involved the design of a hydraulically modeled site stormwater system, and the provision of long sections indicating pavement/earthwork levels.
Ground Civil also took on the responsibility of designing and drafting line marking, which played an integral role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic movements on the site. In addition, Ground Civil provided IFC Drawings package to the client.
As part of the project, Ground Civil liaised with other consultants and relevant authorities to ensure the successful completion of the project within the stipulated timeframe. The project was completed to the satisfaction of the client, who was impressed by the quality of work delivered by Ground Civil.
